European deep tech startups secured $20.3 billion in funding in 2025. A significant 66% of this capital, in the trailing four quarters, went into scaleup rounds exceeding $100 million, according to Dealroom, indicating a maturing ecosystem supporting larger deep tech ventures.

Yet, this active capital deployment doesn't translate to securing the largest global growth rounds.
